Greetings, Beloved.
Happy 69th Independence Day, Ghana! Kindly join us pray for the nation, Ghana. Consider the following prayer points and pray passionately in the spirit;

- Gratitude and Thanksgiving: Thank God for His mercy and lovingkindness that has upheld Ghana since independence.

  It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (Lamentations 3:22).

  • Peace and Unity: Declare that peace reigns in Ghana, and that perpetrators of unrest are silenced..

  • And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.(Jeremiah 29:7)

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
2 Thessalonians 3:16).

- Wisdom for Leaders Declare that God gives leaders wisdom, humility, and integrity to govern justly.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.1 Timothy 2:1-4).

- Economic Revival: Pray for Ghana's economic growth, protection of local businesses, and an end to unemployment.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Psalm 90:17).

- Justice and Righteousness  Ask God to enthrone justice and righteousness in Ghana, defending the oppressed

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
(Isaiah 1:17).

  • Healing and Restoration  Pray for healing of Ghana's wounds, forgiveness of sins, and restoration of dignity.
  •  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
    (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Think through these verses as well, as you pray;
   ."Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."(Psalm 33:12)

-- "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed."(Isaiah 1:17)

- "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." (2 Corinthians 3:17) -

Speak Aloud!
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Ghana's 69th Independence Day. We bless You for the freedom and peace You have given us. We declare that our leaders are walking in wisdom and integrity, and we pray for unity among Ghanaians, economic prosperity, protection from evil, and healing for our nation. Guide us, Lord, and help us to seek justice and righteousness. May Your Spirit fill our nation, bringing freedom, peace, and prosperity in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Thank you for praying with us. You can reframe the above prayer points in your own words and pray passionately for our country, Ghana. Happy Independence Day! Celebrate in peace. God bless you.
