The floods have taken homes, farms, roads, and lives. But God sees, God hears, and God is a refuge. Let’s stand in the gap.

1. Pray For God’s Protection and Preservation of Life
: _“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge... You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day.” — Psalm 91:4-5_
_“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you... when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” — Isaiah 43:2_
2.Pray For Comfort and Strength for the Brokenhearted
_“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4_
_“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1_
3. Pray For Provision of Basic Needs: Food, Water, Shelter, Medicine
_“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19_
_“Do not be anxious about anything... but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” — Philippians 4:6_
4. Pray For Wisdom and Strength for Responders and Leaders
_“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” — James 1:5_
_“Whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23_
5. Pray For Restoration and Rebuilding
_“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied.” — Joel 2:25-26_
_“The Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory.” — Psalm 102:16_
6.Pray For Peace and to Calm the Waters
: _“He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.” — Psalm 107:29_

Speak Aloud!
Lord, thank you for a hedge around every family trapped by the floodwaters. Thank you for the preservation of lives, children, the elderly, and the sick. Father, thank you for comforting those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. Replace grief with Your peace that passes understanding. Jehovah Jireh, thank you for the release of emergency aid, clean water, food, shelter, and medical care speedily to every displacement camp and affected community in Ghana and across the nations. Lord, thank you for wisdom for NADMO, Red Cross, churches, NGOs, government officials, and volunteers wisdom, strength, and resources to respond effectively without corruption or delay. Lord, You are the God of restoration, please cause what the flood has destroyed to be rebuilt better. Restore homes, farms, businesses, schools, and roads. Let there be no permanent loss. Lord Jesus, You calmed the storm on Galilee. I speak peace to the rains, rivers, and seas. I declare a stop to further flooding and protection for vulnerable communities going forward in Jesus' Name. Amen.
