Filled With His Goodness
God is not only mindful of you. He delights in perfecting his goodness in his children.
It is one of those blessings to release to always cultivate the attitude of thanksgiving.
Be full of gratitude. It does not matter what you face. Praise God always.
The psalmist, speaking of our salvation in Christ, declares;
Psalms 21:1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! 21:2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. 21:3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
Look at verse 3. The Word 'preventest' there is Hebrew word qâdam ( pronounced 'qaw-dam') which means to meet, usually for help. Hence we could read that portion like, 'For thou meet him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.'
Hallelujah... Can you personalise that as your confession.
With this understanding, gratitude must fill you always...
Psalms 107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalms 107:15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalms 107:21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalms 107:31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Isaiah 63:7 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
His goodness is for us. We are His, the church, the sheep of His pasture, filled with his goodness. We are not just poor sinners saved by His grace, from hell to heaven. We are partkers of his goodness on earth.
Hosea 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
Zechariah 9:17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
Glory to God.Think about the riches of his goodness. Win souls for Him. Turn men to him.
After repentance, they are in the promised land of His goodness. Hallelujah.
Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 26:17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
*Say this with me:*
*Lord I thank you, for salvation in Christ Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe He died for me. I confessed with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life and I believe that God raised him from the dead for me justification. I have eternal life now.*
Thank you Lord for filling me with your goodness and I bear fruits of your goodness. Amen.
